An exciting opportunity exists in our communities to support the development of a new generation of “environmental heroes”. The Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation has evolved that idea with a mission to educate and empower youth to appreciate preserve and protect nature. Their passion is to reconnect a generation of youth to nature who have grown up indoors and isolated from nature, and their promise is to provide a learning pathway leading towards a life of environmental stewardship for youth in grades 3-12.
